The Value of Kindness

A film by Tom Wilson
Short film | 6 min | 2018 | UK, ROU

A feminist collective of young girls manages to bring about a »coups d’etat« by undermining the very thing that underpins the ideal of consumerist acquisition: sex. Their regime of »sexual communism« brings the economy (based on the idea of possessing people and things) grinding to a hault. »The Value of Kindness« asks questions about love, ownership, property, and the possibility of sexual utilitarianism.
