JOINT GREEN STATEMENT – OUR VISION AND MISSION ON THE TOPICS OF ENVIRONMENT AND SUSTAINABILITY

I. INTRODUCTION
We strive and commit to responsible treatment of our environment.

II. VISION
Our actions are characterized by sustainability, transparency, and responsibility. We demand and promote environmentally friendly and respectful behavior.

III: MISSION
We produce green because we only have one planet and no plan B. We live green because we have understood and internalized the rights of future generations.
We follow a 6-step plan for all our actions:
AVOID! REDUCE! CHANGE! NEUTRALIZE! INVEST! ENGAGE!

IV. OUR ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT

We were one of the first film production companies to be certified with the Austrian Ecolabel and were successfully recertified in 2022. We exceed the requirements and implement them consistently.
This applies, among other things, to the areas:

  • Mobility = Carpooling / Environmental Taxis / Transport Captains / Promotion of public transport
  • Corporate mobility management 
  • Reduced travel and hybrid meetings
  • If possible, errands will be done on foot and by bicycle.
  • Energy = Green electricity “Ökostrom“
  • local crew members
  • Heating = Smart thermostats
  • Reusable containers = no disposable cups

 

  • Catering = for example, our Tasty Planet is fresh, regional, and seasonal. No convenience is processed. Our food is healthy, and beneficial. No meat and therefore no animal suffering. We are 80% vegan. In this way we respect life, do not waste water, and protect the environment. We hope to inspire other film caterings with this concept.
  • Waste separation = according to the Vienna system
  • Materials = Certified according to national and international standards (ÖNORM, ISO, EU-Ecolabel)
  • Print orders, only if necessary and then in B&W
  •  Compensation through certified and reputable projects that stand up to scrutiny if subsidized
  • economical use of groceries
 
We implement, evaluate, and continuously monitor measures to promote ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY BEHAVIOR IN THE OFFICE AND ON SET. Information meetings are held regularly. The position of a Sustainability Manager was created to ensure this. Producing sustainably and living based on values is in our DNA.
We cannot live our GREEN VISION of an eco-conscious production office alone; we need the SUPPORT OF EACH INDIVIDUAL TEAM MEMBER.
Therefore, we ask for your cooperation – let’s do something for our environment together! We all bear responsibility, let’s take it on!
