Priya: Los Angeles, California – currently living in the Bay Area.
Vanessa: Aukland, New Zealand – currently living in Helsinki.

What is the greatest masterpiece of film in your opinion?
Priya: “Dreams” (Dir. Akira Kurasawa)
Vanessa: “Arrival” (Dir. Denis Villeneuve)

A highlight in your career?
Priya: Every project feels like a new highlight but looking back, I’d have to say filming in the lush forests of Finland felt as close to magic as it gets.
Vanessa: I wouldn’t say there’s a specific highlight but it’s more of the feeling I get when I bring to completion a project that I put my heart and soul into.

What else is your passion?
Priya: Repurposing waste materials into art, giving things a second life.
Vanessa: Inventing new ways of doing old things, even if it gets me funny looks from other people.

A fun fact about you / Any guilty pleasure?
Priya: Fun fact = I’ve been an avid meditator for most of my life. Guilty pleasure = Binge-watching DIY videos on YouTube. And cheesy puffs. Lots of cheesy puffs.
Vanessa: Fun fact = As a child, I was obsessed with finding the optimal trees to climb and wherever I went, I was scoping them out. Guilty pleasure = Trespassing on construction sites. It’s interesting to check out things in the process of becoming whole.
